The Pompidou Centre as a fundamental context to studio is to be observed as an instrument to alter and impact on social, cultural and environmental assets. At this point, R.O.C. is to be considered as not only a way of understanding the museum as a form and space but also investigating the re-identification of architecture of culture as a set of systems progressing towards future. As foreseeing that the culture and technology respond the required needs together effectively in the Centre Pompidou case, transformation and reformation is observed to extend the conjunction of varied events occurring in different time line and everything defines culture beyond architecture.
By utilizing from the vast amount of flexible transformation of free-form joint performance of units, the system is to organize itself to adopt the existing space to cover greater in-between spaces which are to be both inside and outside of the system based on configuration patterns. Building stops being holistic and can separates into a number of parts and move within the square. Controlled directionality of the system allows the unit to be mobile in multiple direction to search other members of its population, reach its target in both architectural and urban scale, and to provide axial transformation. At the same time system is to divide itself into varied scales and by doing so, involve maximum utilization of all available spaces for each object and user.
Hence, the research initialized as a whole yet two distinct set of systems, frame and surface. While frame is to be able to activate itself based on reconfiguration and mobility principles, surface is to be designed as both dependent to one frame and shared-system among frames in a complex set to re-define boundaries, forms and navigations. While the frame and surface indicate high capacity of transformation as one single entity, the cluster behaviour of a unit system is to propose new form of activator to re-define of space which no longer exists by defining voids among transformed entities. Simultaneously dynamic, adaptable, and being part of progression of real and fictional, system manifests to navigate the absence of moments to activate the memory for the future, culture and museum.
