SPYROPOULOS Studio
BEHAVIOUR BASED DESIGN / AGENT-BASED SYSTEMS / ADAPTIVE URBANISM / AUGMENTED ENVIRONMENTS
The studio speculates on how we can design for a latent and unknown world. Within the contemporary condition new conceptual terrains emerge that raise questions of agency and intelligence within a deep ecology of our environment. The studio examines scenario-based design through autonomous, self-structuring constructs. Currently the lab is researching disaster complexity examining how architecture may participate in mass migration, post-earthquake deployable housing and hospitals on demand. These are currently some of the challenges undertaken towards the development of an instantaneous response infrastructure.
