The architecture of a Unity its function and its representation reflects the idea of individuality, which means an entity that is autonomous, capable of being self-referential in a certain level of intelligence. This internal system is possible from an individual metabolism that operates from a constrained structure of different internal states that can change and respond to itself or to a certain environment. Machines/living systems can posses the level of intelligence by its autonomously internal construction, but it is constrained by the domain and spaces of what the observer is qualified to see. In other terms, an entity that can respond to its own domain>of engagement and is able to perform awareness which consequently will operate in a recursive process, where its design decision make elements of composition is capable to achieve goals.
The concept of communication is capable to exist thanks to one important element ofconversation. Conversation, as Pask has shown us in most of his cybernetic projects like Musicolour for example, that the creation of conversation is essential in order to achieve an intelligent level of communication.
In other terms, conversation is the key answer for epistemology. How can an entity get knowledge ? The answer lies in the observer, who is designed, whether by nature or humans (living systems or machines) with the property of having a language level of conversation with himself, other entities or its own environment. That means, a unit which has the capability to distinct its medium in acquainting and negotiating its surroundings (structural coupling), qualified of learning to perform a relationship that starts from being <connotative and convert it to a denotative conversation with others
